Travels With Steve

This "tour" will focus on massive stars (stars greater than about 8 Solar Masses) in the early and mid parts of their lives. Their unique photometric and spectroscopic properties will be highlighted in order to elucidate their underlying fundamental parameters (such as mass and radius) in the contexts of both Galactic and extragalactic stellar populations. Discrepancies between observations and theoretical predictions, including evolutionary consequences stemming from these discrepancies, will also be discussed.
