Student

In the summer of 2022, she attended a Physics Summer School organized by the University of Ljubljana for bachelor's and master's degree students. The following year, she started her senior thesis involving progenitor systems of SNe-Ia under the supervision of Dr. John Antoniadis.

In 2018, he was an intern at RAD@home Astronomy Collaboratory developing interest in Radio and AGN; In 2021 he joined as a Junior Research Fellow for the UC Berkeley SETI-Amity project to do Imaging using uGMRT funded by Breakthrough Listen Initiative; In 2022 he worked as a Senior Project Associate funded by ISRO for the ISRO-ARIES Collaboration on the Aditya-L1 Project(AL1SC); Since April 2023 he is at the Institute of Astrophysics (IA-FORTH) as a PhD student under the supervision of Dr Carolina Casadio in the SMILE group.

Since 2023 he is a member of the project "ARGOS". For his MSc thesis he is working under the supervision of Prof. Vasiliki Pavlidou in collaboration with Dr. John Antoniadis in the study of neutrino radio signatures with the "ARGOS" program.

During his undergraduate studies, he completed his thesis, entitled "Gamma radiation absorption by GRBs via photon-photon reaction", under the supervision of Professor Apostolos Mastichiadis.

Since 2023 he is a member o the project "ARGOS". For his MSc thesis, he is working on pulsar timing simulations for the ARGOS array under the supervision of Dr. John Antoniadis.

During his undergraduate and postgraduate studies he studied the various mechanisms of galaxy activity. He developed diagnostics for galactic activity in the optical and infrared part of the spectrum, utilizing machine learning methods. He collaborates with Professor Andreas Zezas in the study of the evolution of galaxies and the application of machine learning methods in Astrophysics. In May 2022 he commenced a studentship at the Center for Astrophysics at Harvard University (USA).

During her undergraduate studies she completed his senior thesis entitled “First photometry of the contact binary star NSVS 12092853 from TESS’’.

He became a member of the Institute when he started working on his senior thesis under the supervision of Prof. Iossif Papadakis to study the X-ray variability of Active Galactic Nuclei using Swift/BAT light curves. 

In the fall of 2022, he started his bachelor thesis on "Phase Transitions in Millisecond Pulsars" under the supervision of Dr. John Antoniadis, which was completed in 2024.
