Undergraduate Student

Marina Tsakalou graduated from General High School of Archanes in 2020 with a grade of 19.1/20. The same year she started her undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete.

Panagiotis Fotis graduated from the 1st High School of Ierapetra in 2021 with a grade of 19.4/20 (‘Excellent’). In the same year, he began his undergraduate studies in Physics at the University of Crete.

Vasiliki graduated from General highschool in 2019. The same year she started her undergraduate studies in University Of Crete Department of Physics.

Prodromos Fotiadis graduated from Nikiforos Drama High School in 2023 with a grade of 19.8/20. The same year, he started his undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete. As a student, he represented Greece in several Balkan and International Mathematics Competitions (JBMO, BMO, IMO). In March 2025, he joined the Institute of Astrophysics at FORTH. Under the supervision of Prof. Kylafis and Nick Loudas (Princeton University), he is studying accretion onto strongly magnetized neutron stars and the associated X-ray radiation, with a focus on the formation of cyclotron lines in the accretion column.

Michalis Mavrommatis graduated from Soudas High School of Chania in 2020 with a grade of 18.3 (Excellent). That same year, he began his undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete.
 

Anastasia Glykopoulou graduated from the High School of Sofades in 2020 with a grade of 18.4/20 (“Excellent”). She began her undergraduate studies the same year in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete. During her studies, she applied machine learning methods to Spectral Energy Distribution (SED) analysis and performed time-series analysis on AGN data in various research projects.

He graduated from the 2nd General High School of Sykeies, Thessaloniki, with a grade of 17.5 (Very Good) in 2022, and he began his undergraduate studies in Physics at the Univ. of Crete.

Vasilis Diamantopoulos received his High School Diploma from the 8th General High School of Peristeri in 2018. In the same year he began his studies in the Department of Physics of the University of Crete.

Maria Kofinaki graduated from the 7th High School of Heraklion in 2021 with grade 19.9/20 ("Excellent"). The same year, she started her undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics.
