Education

Nikos Mandarakas obtained his BSc in Physics in 2018 and completed his Master studies in Advanced Physics with specialization in Astrophysics & Space Physics in 2019, both at the University of Crete. He is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. K. Tassis.

Career

He has been actively engaged with polarimetric observations at Skinakas observatory since the last year of his bachelor studies and has gained experience in relevant research, data acquisition and data analysis. For his PhD studies, he is part of the PASIPHAE survey, contributing to observations, analysis of the products and development of computational tools for the needs of the survey.
