He has worked as software quality assurance engineer in the industries of IT and Electronic Manufacturing and as technician in electronics store. He has also worked as an intern in the laboratory of Electronic constructions and microcomputers of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete and as software developer in FORTH’s Institute of Computer Science during his MSc thesis. In October 2023 he joined FORTH’s Institute of Astrophysics as technical support and night assistant of Skinakas Observatory.

After his graduation, he worked in industry as a Mechanical Engineer, where he developed skills in operation, programming and maintenance of CNC machines.  He has experience in installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment. Furthermore he operated CAD/CAM software programs and evolved in 2D & 3D industrial design. He joined the Institute of Astrophysics in June 2023 and he is supporting the engineering needs as well as telescope operations of Skinakas Observatory.

From 2016 until 2019 she worked for Doctors of the World as an administrative-financial accountant assistant for the monitoring of EU funding projects and as a project coordinator for a small period. She also worked as a procurement assistant for International Organization for Migration from 2019 to 2023.

Since 2018 he works in the Signal Processing Laboratory (SPL) of the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) as a research software engineer. In 2022 he joined IA-FORTH as software developer of JWST extraction tool.

From 2015 until 2020, he worked at the National Observatory of Athens as a member of the public outreach team of the Thissio Visitor Center. He has also taken over the scientific revision of an astronomical children's book and has worked in private secondary education. Since 2022, he is the public outreach officer of the Institute of Astrophysics - FORTH.

For over a decade he has worked in areas of microcontroller automation, development and programming, as well as in photorealistic 3D design at Engino Toy Systems, industrial design and CNC programming at Bountourakis S.A. In 2020 he joined IA-FORTH as night assistant and technical/engineering support of  Skinakas Observatory.

From 2003 until 2016 she was working in research funded positions by the University of Crete. She has also worked for the Central Administration of FORTH and since 2012 she has been the administrative assistant for the "Onassis Foundation Science Lecture Series" organized by FORTH. 

Since 1996, he works as a System and Network Administrator at the Computer Center of the University of Crete providing, Tier/Level 1 to Tier/Level 3 support, design, implementation, management and security of infrastructure services. In May 2019 he commenced supporting IA-FORTH for all its IT and network needs and in January 2023 obtained a permanent position at the institute. 

She has been part of Skinakas group since 2000 in project funded positions by FORTH and the University of Crete. During the period of 2002-2004 she was an administrative assistant for the "Onassis Foundation Science Lecture Series" organized by FORTH. 

He was Senior Technician at the Dept. of Hydroacoustics of the Institute of Marine Biology of Crete (currently Hellenic Centre for Marine Research) from 1995 until 1999. Since 1999 he has been a Technical Manager at Skinakas Observatory.
