Vangelis Vardakis received his BSc degree from the Dept. of Electrical Engineering of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete in 2012 and his MSc degree in Advanced Systems of Production, Automation, and Robotics in 2017 from the same institute. |

He has worked as software quality assurance engineer in the industries of IT and Electronic Manufacturing and as technician in electronics store. He has also worked as an intern in the laboratory of Electronic constructions and microcomputers of the Technological Educational Institute of Crete and as software developer in FORTH’s Institute of Computer Science during his MSc thesis. In October 2023 he joined FORTH’s Institute of Astrophysics as technical support and night assistant of Skinakas Observatory. |
