Polarimetric observations of X-ray binaries

A systematic analysis of polarimetry from Be X-Ray Binary systems has been started with the goals to: characterize the polarization state of BeXRBs, compare isolated Be's vs BeXRBs, help to improved disk formation and evolution models, provide a catalogue of interesting targets. Up to now about a dozen systems have been observed in multiband optical polarimetry and the plan is to expand the sample with further measurements and strengthen the collaboration with Skinakas Observatory.
