Alejandro Mus earned his BSc from the Universitat de les Illes Balears (Spain) and went on to complete an MSc at Université Paris-Saclay (France). He continued with his PhD at the Universitat de València (Spain), finishing in 2023.
Career :
After his PhD he worked as postdoctoral fellow at the Università degli Studi di Cagliari (Italy). Alongside academia, he has worked as a computer scientist in several private-sector technology companies. In February 2025 he joined the group of Carolina Casadio, where he contributes to the ERC-funded project SMILE – Search for Milli-lenses to Discriminate Between Dark-Matter Models.

Radio and mm-VLBI, Active Galactic Nuclei, imaging reconstruction algorithms.
