Education :

Anna Konstantinou received her Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2018, specializing in Astronomy, Astrophysics, and Mechanics.
In 2021, she obtained her Master's degree from the Department of Physics of the University of Crete, with the thesis entitled "Study of the Impact of Interstellar Cloud Shapes on CMB Polarization Foregrounds" under the supervision of K. Tassis and V. Pelgrims.
In 2026, she completed her PhD at the same department with the dissertation "Unveiling the Role of Magnetization in Galaxy Evolution through Numerical Simulations", under the supervision of E. Ntormousi.

Career :

During her doctoral studies and until June 2026, she collaborated with the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa on research projects involving numerical simulations of magnetic fields.
Since July 2026, she has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), as part of the ERC-funded project "SMILE: Search for Milli-lenses to Discriminate between Dark Matter Models", under the supervision of C. Casadio.

Interests :

Her research interests include numerical magnetohydrodynamic simulations, galactic magnetic fields, polarimetry, the interstellar medium, dark matter, gravitational lensing, and astrobiology.
