Michalis Mastorakis graduated from the Neas Kydonias' high school that is located in Kato Daratsos, Chania in 2018. The same year he started his undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics of the University of Crete. He graduated in 2022 and joined the Advanced Physics MSc program of the Department. |

In September 2021 he started working on his senior thesis under the supervision of Professor Vasiliki Pavlidou and her graduate student Stelios Romanopoulos on Backtracking of ultra-high-energy cosmic-rays through the Galaxy’s magnetic field in order to determine their sources and their composition. |
