Nikolas Vasilas graduated from 2nd High School of Heraklion Crete in 2020 with a grade of 19.9/20 (‘Excellent’). The same year he started his undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete. |

| Career |
In the year of 2016 he and the team of Science of his school participated in the ESA competition “ASTRO PI” and they proceeded to the next phases of the competition with two projects. In the summer of 2022 he started his bachelor thesis under the supervision of professor A. Zezas; in which he is studding X-ray Binaries utilizing Machine Learning techniques and algorithm. In the same summer he got accepted and attended the 2022 Summer School of Astrostatistics in Crete. In the summer of 2023 he completed his internship at the company JADBio – Gnosis DA as junior Data Scientist. |
