The school was attended by 155 selected students of the A' or B' class of 40 Lyceums from all 4 prefectures of Crete, who were eager to learn more about astronomy. More than half of them followed all lectures and received a certificate of attendance.

Moreover, a total of 43 students also decided to participate in the optional online exams. The first 5 received as prize three astronomy books from Crete University Press.

In addition, the first three of them received a special award: the opportunity to spend 2 nights at Skinakas Observatory in order to participate in astronomical observations using the telescope 1.3m alongside the researchers of the Institute of Astrophysics.

The three partners that made the School of Astrophysics a reality, renewed their "astronomical" appointment with the students of the island of Crete for 2023!
