Abstract :
In this seminar, I will report how, by combining several existing datasets, we were able to confidently unveil the effect of line-of-sight frequency decorrelation of the Galactic-dust polarization signal that is due to the superposition of clouds. I will discuss possible impacts on CMB science of such an effect and I will motivate local efforts that will undoubtedly help better understand the polarized foreground emission to the CMB.
