Abstract :

The origin, composition, and properties of dark matter (DM), a non-luminous form of matter making up the majority of matter in our Cosmos are yet to be discovered. This is despite dedicated experimental efforts over several decades. One of the prominent class of scenarios is that DM consists of ultralight bosonic particles that have scalar interactions with matter.  Within such scenarios, fundamental constants of nature are expected to acquire oscillations. After an introduction to the light bosonic DM landscape,  I will discuss several experimental efforts aiming at detecting effects that may arise due to DM-induced fundamental constant oscillations.
