2016, he and his school’s science team participated in the ESA “ASTRO PI” competition, advancing to the next phases with two projects. In the summer of 2022, he began his bachelor’s thesis titled “Diagnostics for Compact Object Types in Extragalactic X-ray Binaries” under the supervision of Professor A. Zezas, in which he studied X-ray binaries using machine learning techniques and algorithms. He presented it in July 2024. That same summer, he was accepted to and attended the 2022 Summer School of Astrostatistics in Crete. In the summer of 2023, he completed an internship at JADBio – Gnosis DA as a junior data scientist. In the summer of 2024, he undertook an Erasmus+ internship at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics. Under the supervision of Dr. Johannes Buchner, he applied simulation-based inference on eROSITA surveys of quasars and their host galaxies. At the end of this internship, he presented a poster at the “First Results from the SRG/eROSITA All-Sky Survey: From Stars to Cosmology” conference.
