Polina Petrov earned her BSc in Physics, with a specialization in Astrophysics, from Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA, USA) in 2021. She then completed her PhD in Astrophysics in 2026 from Vanderbilt University (Nashville, TN, USA) under the supervision of Prof. Stephen R. Taylor.
Career :
Polina has been a member of the pulsar timing array collaboration NANOGrav since 2021. She arrived as a Postdoctoral Researcher at IA-FORTH in October 2026, working on the ERC-funded MMMonsters project led by Prof. Maria Charisi.
