Education :
Mirella Magkanari graduated from the 3rd General Highschool of Glyfada in 2024 with a grade of 19.4/20 ("Excellent"). In the same year she started her undergraduate studies in the Department of Physics at the University of Crete.
Career :
In 2026 she joined the Institute of Astrophysics at FORTH when she started a summer internship under the supervision of Dr. I. Liodakis on the reduction and calibration of a polarimeter. In September 2026 she started a research project supervised by Prof. K. Tassis on the subject of spectropolarimetric analysis of galaxies with data from the Southern African Large Telescope (SALT).
