Meg earned her BSc in Astrophysics, with a minor in Computational Mathematics, Science, and Engineering, from Michigan State University (East Lansing, MI, USA) in 2019. She then went on to earn her MSc (2022) and PhD (2025) from the University of Connecticut (Storrs, CT, USA) under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan Trump. Her PhD thesis is entitled "Timing is Everything: Single and Binary Quasars in Massive Time-Domain Surveys".
