The Institute of Astrophysics of the Foundation for Research and Technology- Hellas, (IA-FORTH) is excited to announce that Gerard "Gerry" Gilmore, FRS, Professor of Experimental Philosophy at the Univ. of Cambridge, has been awarded the lifetime title of "Honorary Fellow of IA-FORTH" by the Board of Directors of FORTH.
Professor Gilmore is an internationally recognised scientist with seminal contributions in the field of observational astrophysics. As an honorary fellow he will be spending more time in Crete, interacting closely with students and researchers, which will be extremely beneficial to all members of the Institute.
