The Institute of Astrophysics is proud to announce that Mr. Raphael Skalidis, has been selected to receive the “Friends of FORTH” best PhD student award for 2019. Mr. Skalidis, a member of IA-FORTH who is working under the supervision of Prof. K. Tassis at the Dept. of Physics of the Univ. of Crete, was selected among all PhD students of the 7 Institutes of FORTH. The prize, which includes a citation and a monetary award, is to be presented to Mr. Skalidis on September 30, 2019. We would like to extend our best wishes for further successes in his professional pursuits.
