In the framework of the World Space Week 2022, the Institute of Astrophysics of the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas in collaboration with the Department of Physics of the University of Crete is organizing an event at the Department of Physics, on Friday 7 October 2022, between 18:00-22:00.
The event will be supported by students from the Astronomical Student Group of the University of Crete, Astronomy PhD students, as well as volunteers, preparing educational activities on the theme of Space, for young and old, with free entrance. These actions are addressed to students from 6 years old and above. A maximum of 150 people will be able to attend the event, so students who wish to learn about space with hands on experiments are invited to register in advance. Participation is secured on a first-come, first-served basis.
